Problem In Microsoft Word Page Break Mac
Some of my pages are small, only 1 or 2 lines long, so it's inconvenient to have Word show me a full page of white space as I scroll up and down the document. My problem is, I can't see where the hard page breaks are. If I press to insert a page break, all I get is a blank line. Note If you have Service Pack 2 installed, open Application Support Microsoft instead of Preferences Microsoft. Do you see the error? To add a forced page break in Microsoft Word, place your cursor whereyou want the page break, and then follow the appropriate step below:
- In Word for Windows, press
Ctrl-Enter
. - In Word for Mac OS X, press
Shift-Enter
(notShift-Return
).
To remove a page break you've made:
- Click the margin directly to the left of the page break line tohighlight it.
- Press the
Del
orDelete
key.
Note: You cannot delete or remove soft page breaks,which are indicated by dotted lines. To change where soft page breaksoccur, you must change the settings for your margins.
